What we're talking about
Insights and conversations from the Inqqa team on survey analysis, NPS and open-text research.
Painfully honest question: who is actually reading all this feedback we collect? Most people assume the problem is too much data and too few people to read it. I think the problem is bigger than that. We run employee engagement surveys. NPS campaigns. Market research that takes weeks to field. We send invitations, set deadlines, nudge late responders. And then... silence. The dashboard gets built. The exec summary gets written. But nothing visibly changes. Here's what nobody says out loud: when you collect feedback and never show what changed because of it, you're not just losing insights. You're teaching people that speaking up is futile. That one survey is the equivalent of a locked suggestion box. The cost doesn't show up on a spreadsheet. It shows up next year when response rates drop. It shows up in exit interviews and churn reports and the quiet resignation of people who stopped offering their honest opinion because it never mattered anyway. We built Inqqa Express because we saw this gap between collection and action everywhere. Not to read surveys faster, but to close that loop so teams can actually respond to what people said.
Read on LinkedInYour 72 NPS can be a lie. The comments tell the truth. We had a client celebrating a 72 NPS score. Foundational customers were happy, growth looked solid. Then the churn notice landed from one of the biggest accounts on that list. The number never saw it coming. The comments did. That is the trap. NPS is seductively simple. One score, one benchmark. But it tells you how someone feels overall, not why. A customer can score you a 9 and quietly resent your pricing. Another gives a 6 and loves your support team. Averaged together, those two voices sound identical. Opposite problems, opposite fixes. The why is sitting in the open-ended comments. But nobody has time to read 2,000 verbatim responses looking for a pattern. So we automated that part. Inqqa Express reads the comments, analyzes them by aspect, and surfaces exactly what drives happiness or frustration. Pricing. Support. Features. No data science team required.
Read on LinkedInTwo employees wrote the word "manager" in the same survey. One meant their direct supervisor. The other meant the person in the office who always takes credit for their team's work. Both used the same word. The meaning could not be more different. A simple keyword count tells you: people are talking about management. That's it. That's the insight. But it's not. It's a trap. Throw those two responses into a standard analysis and they look the same. They're not. One person is describing a healthy relationship with a boss who supports them. The other is describing a culture problem that no amount of team-building will fix. The tool isn't dumb. It's missing the context needed to interpret properly. This is why keyword frequency alone is a dangerous way to understand open-ended feedback.
Read on LinkedInOpenAI just reported a Goldman Sachs analyst to the FBI based on ChatGPT conversations. That's not a rumor, it's in the article. Read that again if you're an EU company using US AI services. The moment your data passes through a US provider, you inherit their legal obligations. US law enforcement can compel them to hand over or flag conversations. GDPR doesn't matter at that point - the data is already on their systems. I've said it before: US AI is not neutral. It's infrastructure subject to US jurisdiction. For EU companies running sensitive workloads on OpenAI or similar services, this is a compliance liability you cannot ignore. The AI Act will hold you accountable, not the provider. This is why we built our infrastructure around sovereign, open-source-first solutions for EU organisations.
Read on LinkedInYour data speaks. Now you can ask it questions. "What are some appealing quotes from female respondents about 'Training & Learning'?" Instead of digging through 15 charts, just ask. Every Inqqa Express report has an Ask tab. Type any question in plain language, and the AI answers grounded in your survey data, with smart context injection. Free-form prose, structured, or bullet points. English, Dutch, and more — the report language follows your survey. Professional, concise, or detailed tone. Every answer is editable and re-generatable.
Read on LinkedInStop just tracking your NPS score. Start understanding it. A single NPS number tells you where you stand. It doesn't tell you why. When leadership asks why the score dropped, "I don't know, let me read 500 rows of Excel" isn't a great answer. With Inqqa Express, you can bridge the gap between tracking a metric and understanding your customers in seconds. We process scores, open text, and segments simultaneously so you get the full story not just an index.
